Creative Coin is here! (and I wrote a dark poem to celebrate)

I have been thinking about the topic of creativity a bit since the launch of Creative Coin and in some ways I feel like my creativity is failing. I haven't written much poetry lately, and honestly I haven't written much of anything this year. There may be a bit of a disconnect in my mind about how I view my creativity though, because I've been doing quite a bit and building many things, perhaps my creativity is just changing mediums.

When I first got to STEEM, I could write some mediocre poetry and perform mental dumping exercises that I suppose you could call "blogging" if you'd like. After a while my poetry got a bit better and I started writing more cohesive philosophical posts that I'm pretty proud of, but lately I suppose most of my creativity has been focused on creating and building communities and projects. It's not really a 'better or worse' dynamic, I suppose it's just different.

All of that being said, I'm really happy to be involved with Creative Coin and working with some of my absolutely favorite people. Am I creative enough to fit in? Who knows, but comparison is the death of joy and if nothing else, perhaps it'll get me writing a bit more. Stretching so thin that the blind can see through,
but there are no breaks, only more voodoo.

Treading the floor of this bottomless pit;
Praying for mercy that it all might quit.

Slaving for air, addicted to breathing;
Sense long gone and sanity is leaving.

Trepid existence was made for the blithe;
Living is suffering, but this ain't life.
