This trip has been soul healing

Our trip here to Thailand has been nothing short of AMAZING. It has been such a great way to spend time with my wife, meet amazing people from the Steem Blockchain, see some of the most incredible places on earth, and just relax with my best friend.

Today is our last day here and early tomorrow morning we begin the long trek back home to the US. We are going to spend the majority of the day just relaxing in the sun and swimming in the beach.

We spent some time yesterday speaking with a property management company here in Pattaya about the different options that they have for rentals. My wife and I have really fallen in love with this area and could see ourselves living here. This is a pretty good area for expats to come and live because the cost of living here is not too expensive.

It was so relaxing being in the warm ocean water as the sun was going down.

I can't wait to be able to come back here and bring our kids with us so they can experience the Thai culture and see how amazing this country is. Hopefully they fall in love with this place as much as my wife and I have.

We are going to go get some breakfast so we can get all of our bags packed and then get ready to just relax for the day before we begin the very long journey back home early tomorrow morning. These past 11 days have been truly amazing. My wife and I are calling it our second honeymoon.

Thanks man. But don’t worry, I will be having a little bit of alcohol on the 24 hours of plane rides to help pass the time. It will also be a good time to catch up on editing my photos.

Holy Cow. It looks like you guys have had a REALLY good time. Makes my heart feel good.

My brother and his wife went to Thailand a couple of years ago sort of on a flyer. They'd heard about the beauty, culture and expat community so decided to give it a try.

Long story short, they bought an apartment. As they lurch ever closer to retirement they plan to spend more and more time there.

Thanks Tom. Thailand was amazing for us. I don’t think we will ever buy property anywhere again once we sell our home. We don’t want to be tied down to any one spot. We like the idea of being able to just pick up and go wherever and whenever we feel like it.
