When I was studying at school, I was a pretty restless teenager, always waiting to go to the beach, fishing, games and friends.

She helps me study a sweet girl called Lourdes, she was shy and very gentle, she laughed at all my crazy things; His patience was endless with my math.

One day it occurred to me to go through my Aunt's house and she had a plant with green and yellow leaves, with a very striking flower, wine-colored. It was then, when it occurred to me to take a little one to the shy Lourdes.

I came to her house with the plant and said: don't let her die, because he who lets a plant die, lets love die, I think they were very wise words , but they marked sadness; Well, we went on school vacations and when Lourdes came back he didn't look at me, he didn't even greet me. I did not understand his change and I felt very sad.

Days passed in that situation of silence, until one day I faced her and asked her what if she wanted to remain my friend; she cried and told me that yes, in between sobs I heard her say: my plant dried up. My reaction was to hug her and break into laughter, to explain that sometimes those things happen but that I would teach her to take care of her.

That plant is beautiful, it reminds me of the shy Lourdes, my always soul friend. Plants and friends have that in common, you always have to take care of them, water them and be aware to see them grow; This is also the case with love. That's why never let a plant die.
