I downloaded the Koinos miner and set it up on a Virtual Machine, since the setup file is a ,exe and I don't trust them on my main machine no matter how much I may trust the source.
Then you have to do some further things to make sure you have a source for Gas, and a sink for where your Koins will go. I think I'm ready to mine next week! I like this team and I want to be in this project.

It sounds interesting... but what will the coin be used for? Without any practical usage... it will be just another coin without nothing special to offer. 🤔
It looks like it is targeted as a smart contract version of STEEM/HIVE in as far as fee less transactions with improved efficiency in the forking process to allow for smoother development. So I assume it will just be a another coin, possibly with staking mechanics to use the chains smart contracts (with initial POW pre-mine vs ICO).
