The 20 min Dogwood Tree from Jacey!

@jacey.boldart did a delightful painting a few weeks ago for Tree Tuesday. 20 minute painting) I find it rather astonishing that she created this gorgeous piece in 20 minutes!

All of her art is quite wonderful and when I told her how much I loved this one she very generously sent it to me as a gift!

I love that I now own a wonderful Jacey original. I will frame it and put it up where I can see it everyday!

It arrived yesterday and in the box with the painting there was also this beautiful card and snowman ornament! What a lovely surprise!

My mailman is so sweet about bringing my packages up to the door, instead of leaving them in the box out at the road. He was particularly happy to bring this one to the door, saying 'it's not even from Amazon!'

My camera was just thrilled to have something colorful to take a picture of! I love this so much.
And that snowman is perfect! The kids will help me put up the tree on the weekend after Thanksgiving and he will look wonderful with all the other ornaments.

Que bellos que admires regalos como estos... No sé que tan recurrente sea, pero en ocasiones vienen a mi mente recuerdos de momentos de mi etapa inicial, sabes? Pre-escolar le llaman aquí en Venezuela. Se que es de esa etapa porque me veo con la camisa roja... Y recuerdo que hice para mi mamá una pintura con mezcla de colores...
De la mitad de una hoja añadías como grandes gotas de cada color y antes de que esta seque, doblabas la hoja a la mitad... El resultado de esa primer pintura siempre le pareció a mi mamá ser un Pájaro, precisamente.
Trataré de hacer que me envíe una foto de ella para que puedas verla.

Han pasado 20 años de eso, y mi mamá aún guarda ese primer dibujo que hice en mi niñez ♥
