MAPX News: MAPX Price Increase & Free Upvotes - 24 July 2019
Sales of MAPX tokens are going well, with some 5,600 sold and about 4940 staked - up about 300 from yesterday.
A reminder that delegation-mining of MAPX tokens will stop when we reach 9,000 tokens sold. Then holders will start to see the token price start to rise significantly. Because of this, I am letting the current price float upwards depending on demand. I have added a few tokens for sale around the 1.005 mark. I shall publish the ABV every weekend and sell some tokens at that price, then see where the market wishes to go.
This is all good news for current MAPX token holders that the price pressure is upwards!
Our active SP, the value that does the upvoting, is now up to 35,600 STEEM, of which 5,030 SP belongs to the fund, the rest being the delegation-miners. Note that this last number is higher than the number of staked tokens, meaning that even when the mining ceases, our SP will be higher than the nominal 1 STEEM per SP. There is also quite a large holding in Steem Engine, but I am confident it will yield extra profits and will convert it to SP when I feel it is needed.

One thing to note in these depressing time of depressed prices, is that the Steem macroeconomic system - the vests and rshares that govern the STEEM coin - adjusts itself so that the size of an upvote in STEEM terms actually increases. Once the price (hopefully) rises again, those extra STEEM will be worth more in Dollar terms.

Hi. I believe that I won a mapx token a few weeks back in one of the steem engine challenges "guess the token symbol." I checked steem engine today and noticed that I never recieved that token. Maybe I just misunderstood the contest or something? If you could clarify that, it would be appreciated :)
