Universal Basic Income on HIVE! Lifetime upvotes to keep family feed.
No clickbait, these are lifetime votes in a cool way. This is a text but the concept and how it works is easy just read it and try if you like.
Since i try to educate my readers lets first understand whats an UBI concept.
A universal basic income is a government guarantee that each citizen receives a minimum income. It is also called a citizen’s income, guaranteed minimum income, or basic income.
Lately due to COVID-19 people/govs/media started speaking about UBI for those who will lose jobs or cant enter jobs so I think its a good moment to show this project (which I have already tested sine come time) up here!
Normally UBI comes from socialism, taxes and government printing money which I'm against but in case of experiment on the blockchain here, the guys came with different ideas which I find pretty amazing.
I don't want to go into politics just if you don't read everything I wanted to say mainly I don't like UBI as an economic concept but here on the blockchain I'm a fan.
You send HIVE to buy points into the UBI bot while buying a point you also give nick of someone else. So for 1 point there is 2 points, 1 for you, one for a friend. Now the money bot has are not from taxing anyone, printing - but from your own money you paid into the pool, just they stay as infinite votes (as long as the bot works of course ;).
Now the easiest way to actually get into this is to use HTTP://peakd.com frontend for HIVE, go-to wallet and scroll to UBI.
Now on the right click "sponsor" and put someone's nick ie kingscrown and an amount.
Yes, you have to put someone's name there, which is cool.
Now give it time and you will be getting votes from the bots depending on your stake in the UBI.
You can also use any frontend and just send them any HIVE amount with a memo with the nick of someone - works the same.

So if you like the idea - try it. If you want to add someone cool as the sponsoring receiver - consider me if your family etc is not here. Remember for each point you can add different people too. I saw people doing this UBI adding for 10s of their friends while stacking up points themselves.

Been a huge fan of SBI for years now and we've been dealing with ignorant downvotes from guys that seem to just wanna bring negativity to the blockchain.
Hopefully they will see the massive benefit SBI can play with you jumping onboard.

I, too think this is a wonderful concept. I have been giving away lots of SBI through Shadow Contest Round 112 And have been trying to ignore the ridiculous downvotes that I receive because I award SBI units.

It's good to see that more people are supporting the project or at least think it's interesting.
There some (two) who don't - I will not go into details here why because they have real childish thoughts.
