Hello!

Today, Leo and I found these weird hollow ice formations inside the forest soil. They were all over the place.

It appears that during the re-occurring melting and freezing last few weeks, the melting snow has deposited inside the moss, and then melted again making a lot of these weird crevices with even weirder deposits of ice.

We've never seen such things appear before. It might be the relatively warm winter that's the cause.
