DBJP # 38 - Christmas with the Great Grandparents

Made a short hour and a half drive across a portion of Pennsylvania to spend the afternoon with Mommy’s side of the family!

Little man James was fixated on Great Grandmas collection of Santa figurines.

Of course everyone was so excited to see and hold James again! James’ understanding of his world has continually deepened, so that formation of significant memories and bonds with other humans can be made. It’s an exciting time for everyone who loves him.

All the gifts that family gave to little man will hopefully provide some entertainment for a long time to come!

But.... realistically, I feel he will grow bored sooner than expected due to his innate curiosity.

Tis the season to be with family, and that we were. It’s nice to be able to see @kelsnm’s family as distance creates a time barrier not usually capable of crossing on weekdays.

But home is where our own traditions will be formed with the little man in the years soon to come.

We got home, I had a surprise for the little man, a gift from my job.

A nice new red wagon. Constructed with a durable metal frame that collapses with ease, and a durable fiber mesh clothe... Good for hauling tools, beers and babies! Not at the same time of course... but perhaps!

James sure enjoyed it. And I am very appreciative of my employer and a colleague for picking that prize for me when my name was drawn in the raffle.
