Chelsea post funny video to mark one year anniversary since Rob 'The Hero of Baku' Green joined

Rob Green arrived in July 2018 and while he never played a competitive match he memorably joined in the Europa League final celebrations.. Despite never playing a competitive match for the Blues, Green became a popular member of the dressing room and gained cult status among the supporters.

The veteran former England international had failed to make an appearance for Huddersfield and looked set for retirement, when he was given the chance by Maurizio Sarri to be third-choice behind Kepa Arrizabalaga and Willy Caballero in July 2018.

His first appearance for Chelsea was against Lyon in the International Champions Cup match last August, when he helped the Blues win on penalties and nearly a year later, in a friendly against New England Revolution, Green came on in the 88th minute for his second and final game.
