PICKING the right Fantasy Football captain is always the difference between a good week and another disastrous one.

Deciding who should take the armband that week can keep you up at night and leave you ruing your stupidity.

But, Starsport are here to help with some tips on who to choose as your Fantasy Football captain for the 2019/20 season.

Firstly, when picking your initial team you should always have a captain in mind that is likely to bring you in bumper points week in, week out. Your absolute banker.

That’s why Mohamed Salah is the most expensive player this year after finishing as top goal scorer in the last two seasons and as we all know, goals = glory in Fantasy Football.

Raheem Sterling: Last year’s top average point scorer and a shoe-in for the armband if in your team. At £12m he’s pricey but pays dividends.

His 6.9 average beat everyone last term and given the way he’s improved over the last 12 months that could be even higher this time around with City sure to push for the title again and Sterling playing a key role.

Mohamed Salah: As mentioned, the Egyptian has been in fine form over the last two seasons. He plays pretty much every game for Liverpool and does the business against all comers.
