People are struggling to get a return in the present financial system. I have a friend who is settling for month-to-month CDs paying 1.6% annually. We hear about lack of wage growth and income inequality but the flipside is those who saved some money are struggling for return.
With the present system on fragile ground, people could be looking at alternatives down the road. With cryptocurrency, people have the ability to alter their returns and help things along.

i guess it's a gamble on top of a gamble. i mean, what happens when fusion power comes along and it's so cheap to use power will we all become miners of the cryptocurrency of choice because we can, but then that might add onto the climate change issues... life is a big old roundabout is'nt it? :)
