The Serenity Of Dusk
(All photos taken by @paradigm42)
My favorite time of day has always been dusk. I love how the deep shades of blue intertwine with the beautiful colors of the setting sun and the shadows of the oncoming night. It is a time in flux, of constant change in an almost magical sense.
I have always found the resting places of those whom have past on to be rather peaceful and serene places. Blanketed in snow from a rather intense snowstorm from a few day ago makes this look like a place of serenity and peaceful slumber.
I do not think of death as an ending, but the starting of a new chapter of experience of ones soul or energy.
Life is about learning from our experiences and moving forward in a positive way to find our own personal wisdom and enlightenment.
Death is just another part of that continuing journey.
As always remember that it is all about the little things in life, and thanks for looking in! :)
that's quite a lot of blues in those pictures ^^ .. winter is coming, hehe ;)
"winter is coming" is a trademark, which belongs to Netflix, I believe. or some other channel ... but its definitely copirighted and free usage is prohibited! there were judicial cases of infringement, too. beware, my friend, beware!
I pretty sure that is from the show Game of Thrones on HBO. :)
yes, exactly. HBO it is!
Winter is most definitely here where I am lol. ;p
awesome captures! i cant share your love to the dusk, tho :P :P
ps. i've shared pics from the cemetary like 8-10 days ago, too (all were shot with a fish eye lens), shot between 15 and 17 daytime, unfortunately... it was a good light but it turned to grey-nothing very very fast... I was feeling very restricted in terms of time and good lightiing...
may I invite you to have a look at the pics?
Thank you! :)
I just looked at that post you mentioned. You got some really great shots there! I especially like the ones with the sun low in the background.
I find older cemeteries really interesting to walk through. You have inspired me to do some photography in some of the older ones near me. I just have to wait for the snow to be gone which might be a while lol..
