Thai Food for STEEMFest Conference Day One

STEEMFest Day One was at the Kamthieng House Museum near Asok BTS in Bangkok Thailand. This is a lovely cultural center with peaceful gardens attached. The Museum provided mostly Thai food, with the spiciness on the side for those who wanted it.

Here is some of the food we had there; looking as yummy as it was. My photos are not complete. You are seeing a sample of about 60% of the treats on offer.

Starting with dessert! Carrot cake was served without frosting and low sugar. Very tasty.

Juice, soda, and water were outside and freely flowing all day.

Excellent curried chicken was a hearty part of lunch.

Salted eggs I was so happy to see. I think I had three.

This salad of shrimp, greens, peanuts, cashews and onions really hit the spot. Three servings again for me.

Raw veggie assortment. I ate a lot of the sliced ginger I love so much.

Pork fried rice I watched others enjoy. I'm low carbing it as best I can.

I did not hear any complaints about this food, and thought it was well done all around. Day Two food is supposed to be more Western - we shall see :)

Curried chicken along with shrimp salad would make my day Sharon, love veggies served each as an individual choice as well.

Enjoy your stay, listened to some on live streaming.
