Wednesday Walk: my trip to Chinatown (part two),นั่งรถเมล์ไปเที่ยวไชน่าเทาวน์

This is my entry for #wednesdaywalk created by @tattoodjay who is now on a break from posting to concentrate on other practical project. I do hope he would be able to fulfill his obligation soon so that he could be free to start taking photos again. I went to Chinatown for a walk several days ago. My usual transport was the ‘hot bus’ as the reckless driver always reminded me to value my precious moment every minute!

I tried to take some snapshots along the way but the bus was going very fast. So the photos are somewhat blurred. I like to watch all those familiar old houses and unruly trees along the way.

The old post office building where Steemfest4 took place one day. People at the bus station had to hurry to get on the bus as it would not wait very long for passengers.

I like taking photos of old Chinese shops and old fashion drug store in Chinatown. The gold shops do not give permission for photography.

People have started to go out for evening meals. The vendors are quite enthusiastic and eager to get ready for local tourists. There is a palpable sense of excitement in the air.

I found a very nice seafood stall by the corner of a road leading to the Gwan Yu shrine. This area is full of wholesale merchandise such as shoes, handbags, hats and soft toys. This place is more for local people than tourist, as people still live in the old houses along the narrow lanes.

เรานั่งรถเมล์ไปเที่ยวไชน่าทาวน์หลายวันก่อน รถเมล์วิ่งด้วยความเร็วที่น่าตื่นเต้น มันทำให้เราเห็นคุณค่าของทุกนาทีของชีวิต วันนี้เป็นการนำเสนอตอนที่สอง เพราะเรามีรูปภาพเยอะมาก เราขอบถ่ายรูปร้านขายของชำ และร้านขายยาแบบโบราณของคนจีน มันทำให้เราคิดถึงตอนเป็นเด็ก และต่อไปร้านแบบนี้คงจะหายไปหมด บรรยากาศที่ถนนเยาวราชดีขึ้นมาก เริ่มมีคนมาเดินหาของกินอร่อยๆ แต่ยังไม่มีนักท่องเที่ยวชาวจีน และชาวต่างชาติมาเดิน ต้องรอให้สนามบินเปิดก่อน

เราไปเจอร้านขายอาหารทะเลที่ดูดีมาก ตรงมัมถนนทางไปศาลเจ้ากวนอู ในซอยนี้มีร้านขายส่งของใช้มากมาย เช่น รองเท้า กระเป๋า หมวก ของเล่นมากมาย แถวนี้เป็นถิ่นของชาวบ้านที่ยังใช้ชีวิตอยู่ในย่านคนจีนมีาเก่าแก่แห่งนี้ เราจะเห็นช่วย้านมาซื้ออาหารและกับข้าวจากรถเข็นที่มาคอยลูกค้าในตอนเย็น เราดีใจที่บรรยากาศยังเหมือนเดิม ไม่ได้เปลี่ยนแปลงมากจนน่าตกใจ

I think I should come to Chinatown again at night to see all the street lights and Chinese signs lit up.

I got all the beautiful jasmine garlands from this nice lady! This has been a very nice walk in Chinatown for me.
