An Alpha Woman

I’m impatient, I crave meaning and reasons;
I’m insecure, I’m fading;
I’m leaping fences, I’m penetrating walls—but still—
I’m just like a hush wind grazing the shore


But its absurdly bizarre how everything seems to change;
I now see myself as an alpha, and not just a bad-ass regal filled with rage;
I don’t want to be validated—I don’t want to just fit in.
For once I’m finally starting to catch up to those dreams I’ve been chasing for the last 15 years.


For aeons of no one choosing me.
I’m fInally BECOMING a woman I will choose over everything.
