I Like Frank's Red Hot Sauce

I bought a giant gallon container of Frank's Redhot, because... well if we have a fecal/fan situation, I want to be prepared.

I know leaving it in a plastic jug for decades will be no good, so Lauren suggested dividing it into pint jars. A gallon should fill 8 pints.

I heat up the water to boiling.

We get the hotsauce... hot for canning. I've never seen so much hot sauce in one place before. Felt it in my eyes for sure.

Scoop by scoop, I ladle the hot Redhot into the hot jars.

I put the lids on and hope for the best.

I was surprised to find I had almost a quart left over!

Now I just wait for that "knock" sound as they cool.
