Life in the water!

A wet and hungry young squirrel here on a wet and rainy day.

We were told that a teacher at a pre-school picked a tiny squirrel up yesterday that fell out of a tree nest. It's little eyes have not opened yet and she is now taking care of it at the school, to teach the small kids how to care for nature's residents.
What a heart warming story.

Yes, there was much rain at the early start of winter yesterday and the cute young squirrels had their first storm experience.

Here she was facing the other way and a real cutie this little one.

Another wet youngster and this one is a molting young Ringneck dove.

Look at the rain on the Ringneck couple and the little Turtle dove in the middle looks dry, but he was also wet.

I think that this one was looking around for a towel.

Finally we nipped down to the ocean and I will show you some great rain shots at the beach in a post tomorrow.

I think that you have gathered the thought that we love the rain and yes indeed we do, as water is life.
We all have rain inside us, as 80% of the human body consists of water and so, rain is a natural attraction.
Often times I ask people to come and dance with us in the rain hahaha.

We will have another electricity power cut this afternoon, so I had to get my daily post done before the appointed shut-down.

Note: All photos are my own and taken with a Canon Powershot SX60HS Bridge camera.

We hope that you have enjoyed the rain story and the pictures.

Nice story Zac, there are still people out there who care for the animals, and the best thing is that she's a teacher and teaches her kids how to care 😃

I have just written these words in another comment, and I think I need to say it again: The past weeks and months have been exhausting and it doesn't seem to get better ... I need a break and since I can't take a break from work at the moment, not even now in quarantine, I take a break from most Internet, better said from the Hive.
My votings will be done automatically and please don't be surprised if I comment from time to time, because some things or people are more important 😁 ... or I might even make a post via HiveBuzz.
I don't know how long this break will be, maybe I will be back next week already, because I am addicted, said the great @janton a while ago 😉
