Lightening Round ~ Heterodox
Today's word of the day for November 22 is heterodox.
Here's what I came up with.
He stared at the words written at the back of the photograph and stifled a sob. His baby girl was never coming back, he knew that now. He had sat for eight months, wondering if everything happened because of his stubbornness.
He slipped, again. Not that he would admit it to anyone. First was his heterodox opinions about the people, followed by a dead wife. Now, a missing child. In his grief, he forgot how violent they could be. Not that it mattered. It was all his fault and he would have to fix it, one way or another.
