CONTINUED FROM URU GALAXY WARS Part 1
Graza had one weakness, it needed workers for the emperor since most workers died from the heavy work exerted on them so they always had an influx of workers from different planets in the galaxy. It was a magnificent planet that made all others look like a joke, it had tech and structure that no one had seen, to call it magnificent was an understatement. The emperor had spared nothing to build his home, he had raided resources from other planets to build his. The Uru warriors had to blend in for them to survive but this was their strength, adapt to your surrounding and move on.
As the battle rages on, the asteroid belt acted a s a shield for the Uru fighters and they used the stealth fighter ships to maneuver and attack the emperor forces. Gong was furious of the casualties he was undergoing that he ordered the small destroyers to blast the belt and make a way through for the starlight destroyers. Of the things that Hexo was hoping for is that Gong becomes irrational after some losses but he didn’t expect him to be this irrational. Blasting the asteroid belt would open the way for him but will send debris flying all over and will affect his own ships and make visibility and maneuverability impossible for both fighting camps. The Uru always found a way to adapt but the emperor fighters struggled and were taken out easily. This was the opening that Hexo was waiting for and he launched a full-scale attack using the debris as shield and employing guerrilla attacks on the Altacan fleet
The Uru were outnumbered 80 to 1 on the battle field and the battle seem all lost until this moment. As the battle raged on word came to the emperor that Graza was under attacked. He made a quick decision to move some of the troops and a few starlight fleet back to defend the home planet. This was a big mistake. He gave general Baja the command of the fleet returning home and he remained to finish the job. The spies in Graza discovered something interesting about the Starship destroyers. To prevent the hyper drives and FTL drives from overheating they used a lighter alloy metal. This made that area a weak point and they instructed the the Uru fighters to target that area. This was great news for Hexo but it was also deadly since to reach the drive cover one would have to risk it all. The main destroyer was flanked by other destroyers that acted as it guards.
Captain Boka managed to capture one of the emperor fighter jets and used it to infiltrate the emperor ranks. As he got near to the starship destroyer, he fired two missiles on the drives and took out the starlight that Kera the emperor eldest son was commanding. The explosion was massive since this starlight carried a lot of weapon and equipment that it took out every fighter destroyer and two more destroyers that were next to it. For about 45 minutes no battle took place as they could not see the battle field. The emperor had lost 3 starlight plus a third of his fighters and his heir to the throne. He became more irrational and he committed forces forward despite not been able to see through the explosion.
Hexo was also having trouble since the Vanga ships were affected by the explosion but he tried to stay in control. They were fighting in their home turf so they had the advantage, they retreated in order to lure the Altacan forces deeper into the meteor and asteroid belt where they had an advantage. There they destroyed all the Altacan forces that followed them then they launched a full scale attack of the remaining Gong forces. General Baja was met with a surprise when he arrived at Graza, all the workers were armed and had over run the planet forces. The Uru fighters had taken over the planetary defense and any ship that appear was shot down. The planetary defense was the ultimate weapon set as the last line of defense and it was way superior and could even destroy the starlight destroyer. He stood no chance and was shot down and all the destroyers eliminated.
Back on Banja the emperor was taking heavy casualties and he decide to retreat but he was blocked and forced to surrender. Hexo took the Gong back to his home planet where he had him tried for the crimes against the galaxy and then executed. Then he set all the planets of the galaxies free to run their own affairs without any interference. After the war he and his men plundered Graza for anything of value and then returned to their home. Since then the galaxy was at peace
