The French Dispatch (2020) – Movie Trailer

I saw the thumbnail for this trailer/movie a few days ago, but some other movie poped-up and I didn’t even click to see this one… I’m so guilty for not doing this post 4 days ago, as the trailer looks great and this movie will leave a big mark this summer. If you know who is Wes Anderson, and you see his name over this movie, you will know what am I talking about… He was nominated for Academy Award SEVEN times! Yes, that’s 7 (in numbers also)… And, I didn’t write anything yet about the awesome cast in the movie… lol…

The story follows a European publication, situated in a fictional 20th-century French city, which decides to publish three best stories from the last decade… A combination of journalist personal lives and crazy stories from the last decade brings a lot of drama, fun, humor, and love...

The director and one of the writers of the movie is, only Wes Anderson, a well-known writer, director, and producer, who was nominated 7 times for the Academy Award! Some of his most famous movies are The Grand Budapest Hotel (2014) (4 Oscar wins), Isle of Dogs (2018) (2 Oscar nominations), Fantastic Mr. Fox (2009) (2 Oscar nominations) or The Royal Tenenbaums (2001) (1 Oscar nomination). On the story of , The French Dispatch worked also Jason Schwartzman, Roman Coppola and Hugo Guinness, old buddies of Wes from other movies.
