Ostrich Medallions!!
Hey everyone, around 6 months ago a mate of mine told me about ostrich meat and how wonderful it was, I had never thought about eating to be honest was just not on my bucket list...
Well, turns out this is surprisingly spectacular, to say the very least. One can confidently compare this to a very good lean beef, literally, if blindfolded in taste and texture you would not tell the difference.. Not even in appearance even!
So as per usual I like to have a lot on my plate... so what is it we have here?? Chilli's of course, Ostrich medallions, cheese (gouda) atcha as well as olives and spuds.
I simply put the potatoes in the oven for an hour at 200 degrees and then added the ostrich medallions for another 20 minutes, a little butter and spices, Whalla. Delicious!
