Show me your burger!! When cabin fever kicks in and you just have to eat-out.
In homage to the silver hording pirate - @thedamus, who first started the #showmeyourburger tag, a very long time ago, I give you last night's meal.
What with a 4yr old and a newborn causing havoc in the Welshstacker household, we decided that since its half term(school holiday), and I was off on paternity leave, we'd go out for a little lunchtime treat..
I know what you're saying - "@welshstacker spending money!!! Has the world gone mad??"
Mrs W is starting to get a bit of cabin fever since her c-section, and since she now relys on me to drive her everywhere, when the opportunity comes to get out the house, she takes it with both hands.
Thats not to say I enjoy spending money.... So of course, what would any self respecting "tight asrse" do?? You look for voucher codes of course :
BARGAIN!! KIDS EAT FREE - That's 1/2pint sorted and as for the newest addition, she's eats for free anyway 🍑🍑
Anyway, back to the #showmeyourburger... Double stacked, 1/2lb, 100% British beef. Add on crispy bacon and cheese, and you have a good quality burger for cheaper than a fast food restaurant. Plus our local restaurant does "bottomless triple cooked chips" all for only £5 ($6)
I give this burger a solid 7 out of 10. What do you think?

I'll admit it's no world beater, but it definitely filled a burger sized hole in my stomach. Lol

Seriously, the burger was massive. Its just a bad camera angle, there is no perspective on comparison in the frame. I'll see if I can dig out a better photo, with sonetjing else for sclae

The wife just smashed out 12 meat pies with my name on 'em.
Earthy goodness, mushroom, gravy and big chunks of steak, all simmered together in the slow-cooker for a few hours; then baked into a crunchy crust. (Her burgers are also excellent.)
You gotta get some beetroot on that burger. Kicks it up a notch.
