One Pot Simple Sinigang Salmon Head
Hello everyone. What’s for dinner? My tummy is rejoicing because our viand for supper is my most favorite.
I learned to eat fish head since I was a kid. My mom taught me how. Later years, when I tasted salmon head, it became my preference. I discover and suprised that there’s a plenty of meat to from it- the cheeks, the eyeballs, etc. It may sounds odd, but yes I ate them and will not spare any except the bones of course.
No need to take fish oil supplements because it’s packed with omega-3 and calcium. Plus, the sour soup of sinigang will also make you feel good.
INGREDIENTS
- 6 pieces parts of Salmon Head
- 2 tomato sliced
- 1 medium onion sliced
- 1 thumb size ginger, sliced
- 1 liter of water
- 2 pieces siling pangsigang
- Salt and pepper to taste
PROCEDURE
It’s simple. Because the method that we did is one pot, we just combined all the ingredients in one pot and let it cook for 15 minutes.
To add sourness, while it’s boiling, we poured 1 pack of Sinigang mix original. So easy!
We run out of Kangkong or water spinach. And because I’m on hypoallergenic diet, we skip the fish sauce. It’s perfectly fine though.
