Footbags from a different world: Chain Mail & Chain Link

Because of issues with the latest hardfork(s), Steemit was down yesterday and I missed NeedleworkMonday. But that's OK because this week's featured footbags aren't sewn, they're linked.

This bag uses an outer chain link shell that holds small blue balls inside.

This bag is a series of linked pairs of pink and silver metal circles.

Neither of these bags are particularly good for freestyle or net: they don't stall well because they slide off your shoe and they're not firm enough for net. I consider them "collector" bags. And even though they're not really functional, I love having these two chain bags in my collection. It's a pretty big collection; I probably have about 400 bags stashed all over my house. The most valuable are displayed in geometric boxes I built myself:
