It was a fun read about Joey and Jenny's adventure or rather Joey's adventure and Jenny's terror in following Joey's plan :D
I like the way it was written describing their moment of running away from some scary sounding vegans and the funny conversation between Joey and Jenny while they were running :D

My 1st recommendation
We all have our own believes and sounds that can come with or are the messengers of news we rather like to avoid. If it comes to birds not all are treated the same. If you can not sing a song you seemed to be doomed, hunted and even feared. @rokhani tells you all about it in his Crow and Kedasih Bird, -Day 850: 5 Minute Freewrite: Monday. I am curious about what a kedasih bird looks like. The prompt "chirp" is used.
My 2nd recommendation
If you ask me Kyle is a spoiled bully and Mrs. Norman should not only have kicked his ass more frequently but put him at work a long time ago instead of letting him bully the neighborhood with his lousy friends. At least the Depression did change him, open his eyes, as he had to stand in a row for a bit of meat.

My 3rd recommendation
This Weekend Freewrite -2/15/2020 - Single Prompt Option written by @myjob fits great to my dpoll. It is all about the freedom we have in the paradise we live in.
The choice of the prompt is for free but if it comes to "freedom"... Everything has a price but the prices asked are for many of us too high.

I loved the free-write @mr-neil wrote about e-safety. When I saw the chirp prompt I did not think it would be taken anywhere near technology. Neil made an amazing point on the state of youth and technology in today's world bringing light to a problem that I think can easily be overlooked.
I recommend everyone to go check out the free-write as well as other short stories by @mr-neil.

Oops! With all the new formatting changes at Steemit, I searched for but could not find this post. Tonight I happened across it while searching for hive-161155. Everything looks different. We can now resteem posts older than seven days (but not upvote). Does anyone know of a post explaining all the changes?

But yeah if you use a hive as a first tag, or even just a name of a community as a first tag, or post directly through a community's front end, your post will not appear on your own steem blog. It WILL appear under "all posts" on your page though
I think this is bass ackwards. The reasoning is that some posts one might be for the community's eyes only, but I'll bet there will be fewer posts like that, so essentially most of us will have to go back to the community and "resteem" (called add to your blog or something), making even more niggling work that we need to do to publish a post. I do not like this aspect so far even on tiny bit. It's not horrible that I no longer get a notification for every single tiny .1% upvote, but the cut-off of .02 for notifications has once again only harmed the little guys. So if one of us with a .03 upvote upvotes a brand new or very low paying post so that our vote is under .02, the blogger will NOT get a notification. That means every upvote I cast on any post. I feel screwed again. Now if they made it so that no upvotes less than, say, 5% generate a notification, I could deal with that. But as it is, we little guys just disappeared a bit more on the blockchain.
I freaking HATE that I have to go to "other" then "notifications" to turn off the red light for notifications i have already seen. And I can't get to my own blog without at least two keystrokes. BLECH.

If you are struggling with this stuff, you with an actual aptitude for math and tech (me with less than zero), I don't know what I'll do about this, except add my name to the petition that explains the grievance.... Blech! Blech!
