Walking in a Kitty Wonderland
Hearing sleigh bells ring, and carolers sing.
Oh, no! Is that Santa in the snow?
Wait, who is that pulling on the rein?
Is that Ollie, and the rest of the pets?
With @kona in the sleigh, bringing their Vets?
My eyes kept blinking; it was just wishful thinking,
Or maybe it was that eggnog I had been drinking.
It was Santa and his reindeer, oh dear.
I fear I will end up like Grandma did last year,
She got run over by a reindeer.
Santa had broken the law; that I saw.
The damp conditions, the morning mist,
Made the reindeer disoriented in the sky,
It wouldn't have happened if Santa had let Rudolph fly.
I ran inside, to hide.
I felt something else was near, to fear.
My gut reaction was to look up.
Sure enough, next to the incense that filled the cup,
Was that sneaky little Elf, sitting on the shelf.
Ho! Ho! Ho!, NO! NO! NO!
This year there will be rules for you fools.
Don't touch my paws, Santa Claus.
Read my tail, not my lips,
You'll know I am mad, when my tail flips.
Santa, you are mean because you mess up my routine.
I'm a creature of habit, dang nab it!
If you don't want me to pout, how about
You pouring Glitter Litter in my box, instead of rocks.
It won't be good for anyone's socks,
But it'll make my jingle bells rock...please no mocks.

I looked around; finally something good I found.
Oh Christmas tree, Oh Christmas tree,
Thanks for coming in, just for me.
What? I can't play with the Christmas balls?
They laughed in-between their merry whistling calls.
You should know better than to tell a cat what to do.
Now your Christmas won't be white, I'll make it blue.
You'll find me rockin' around the Christmas tree,
Clawing everyone's toes and biting their bows,
Making your Christmas party hop, a flop.
My dear humans, here is another thing to make your bells ring.
If you come home smelling like other cats,
I will fill the house with mice and rats,
And mark my territory, with utmost glory.
You won't be singing, "Let's be jolly"
With me decking the halls with my hair balls, by golly.
"Fa-la-la-la-la, la-la-la-la."

Evie's been driving me nuts more and more which I think is a good sign. She's getting sick of that splint and I don't blame her. She'll have her next x-rays thursday so I'm hoping for some good news.
