Fresh Papaya for #FruitsandVeggiesMonday
I don't know if I can make it on time, since I have been traveling these past couple of days, but I'll still make a post anyway. Hahaha! 😂
We just harvested a ripe papaya fresh from the tree this morning. Since our guests at home from the US wants to eat papaya as much as they can (because they say papaya doesn't taste like ours back at their home, maybe because it was harvested when it was not ripe yet), so we prepare papaya as much as we can, too! And thankfully, our garden generously gives us so much.
So here's a simple fruits for breakfast today. Papaya--freshly picked!

I would want to eat lots of fresh papaya if I was staying with you, as well! It definitely doesn't taste the same here because unless you are in one of the few places you can get it locally grown, it is most likely shipped from far away and artificially ripened. I can only imagine how juicy and delicious it is right from the tree!
