In 2012, we started our one hour weekly environmental radio program with FM 99.0, Abakwa FM Radio. Back then it was known as Talk Green, Teach Green, Live Green (TTL3G).

Like a joke, we started a one hour weekly environmental radio program every Saturday from 10:00 - 11:00AM and for over 7 years we have been using this program to educate millions of people of the North West Region about local and global environmental issues.

In 2013, we changed the name from TTL3G to Green Radio.

Some of the major slots of Green Radio include;

1. #GreenQuote of the week: An environmental quote we use to open up the program.
2. #GreenNews: Local and global environmental news
3. Green Question of the Day: An environmental question we ask during every program for listeners to call and share their thoughts. We always award prizes to participants of our program. The question always ties with our main topic of discussion for the day.
4. Focus of the day: A topic of interest which we want to discuss about. We usually invite resource persons to join us in the studio during such deliberations
5. Nature's Cure: A 5 minutes presentation on naturopathy
6. Green Opportunities: A presentation of different environmental opportunities such as scholorships, fellowships, contests, etc.
7. Closing remarks

So far, we have had over 500 Environmental Radio programs with @mr-greens on anchor as the Green Journalist.
These programs also include environmental radio programs with other local and national radio stations such as CRTV Radio, Radio Hot Cocoa, etc.
Over 5000 people have participated in our radio programs via calls,text messages and our social networking channels and over 3 million people have listened to our radio programs for the past 8 years.
