Hide and Seek
I rarely loose anything permanently, I merely displace items temporarily.
This is your guide on how to make your life just that little bit more interesting and stressful. Everyone can loose items by forgetting them in the wrong pocket or dropping between the couch cushions, but a real pro will leave them out in the open while still being unable to find them. This works wonders especially when you are already in a hurry and there is no replacement for said item.
Let us begin!
The following is my personal favourite, a matte black iPhone face down on top of the coffee maker. This works incredibly well because it makes no sense to put it there, and you get bonus stress points for having it on silent, like I always do.
The memory card, what a fun little thing to displace. Very easy to loose, very hard to find, but I do have some spare ones around so it’s not as critical.
Another Apple product, what are the odds!? Small, monochrome, nondescript, amazing for loosing. There is no shortage of white surfaces where you can leave the airpod case, or better yet, the airpods themselves. Bonus points for being expensive.
And last but definitely not least, the OG, the classic; glasses. This one is a double whammy because you can’t see them and you can’t see without them! What a hero! I recommend displacing them at least once a day to have a healthy dose of regular annoyance and practise on finding items.
Sometimes I open the fridge and then I forget, am I taking something out or putting something in.
Does that count?
That’s a good game too! Just pair it with running upstairs for something, forgetting what it was, coming back down and them remembering again. It’s a great everyday workout!
nice one
I thought this was going to be a food post. But it turned out way more fun.🤓
I've lost my sunglasses a few times...Always found them...On my head. You'd think I'd look there first right? But no.
Ever look for your phone while you’re speaking on it? That makes you feel real smart too 😅
Lol...Never done this, but I've looked for my car keys that were in my hand the whole time.
Oh me neither, obviously, because I haz the good brainz 🤓
Lol...
Well, I'm sure there's a brain in my noggin somewhere...I hope anyway.
