Desert Combat Gameplay 04-07
I was wondering if smaller maps make the bots work better, it would not seem that is the case. I fly around some bots in the Blackhawk and it seems the gunners do not fire. Growing up with friends we would do LAN parties and team up, I usually flied the helicopter and they gunned. Though the bots seem not to be up for the task. I can have fun in other ways with them though. The small map makes it easy to get to the heat of the battlefield quickly and over time the fighting was getting pretty intense. I landed the helicopter on the roof of a building and then rolled it. I was amazed I survived but appears the rest of the crew failed to bail out. I peered over the edge and found myself peppered with bullets, almost dead I threw grenade over the edge of the roof. But found myself running a little too far and fell off the edge of the building. I play some more after respawning and steal a Humvee, I shot at the car which makes the bots stop sometimes and they sure did. So I grabbed the vehicle and set off towards the battlefield. I went down a side street and ran over an enemy, physics did not handle it very well and it kind of flung him around. Another solider got stuck on my grill and had fling him off as well. After reaching a good spot I climbed into the .50 cal and laid waste to them as they attempted to make progress. I have them no mercy and sprayed them with gunfire. Driving to my next location I find my vehicle blocked from making further progress. So I jumped out and went about on foot.
Getting bored of the map I switch to a different level and quickly go for the Humvee again, crossing lots of distance easily and finding myself out in front of everyone else at the start of the level.

It really seems this game want to have a gameplay like pubg right?
haha this game came out over a decade before pubg was even an idea.
Desert Combat was probably one of the first open world shooters.
