I am going to seek some help on this amazing community to produce the next post. So, if you wish to join the cause, go go go! I am going hard on this one, so expect some rewards to not be limited to votes only!
That's right, I will be valuing engagement, feedback, initiatives, and of course, the best picture for HIVE 2020 Games! Too soon? Then just make it the first half of 2020 and it will do. The point here is to celebrate the growth of everyone and share to the world what we are all enjoying on #HIVE.

Right... let's get to the second part of this post.
🏆 Prizes!
I am not at all worried about what I am giving out here, because I know the impact it can really do outside and inside of the #HIVE ecosystem. Therefore, my focus will be on the effort to get some of this out into other platforms, blockchains and communities. So, I will be giving out some motivation for those efforts, but I wanna do it in a fun way.
First, I need someone to create a front page picture like the one above but for HIVE based Games!
To the winner of that art, I will be awarding 50 HIVE (more than 10$)!
You are welcome to sign your work if you wish to and I will be evaluating it to my standards, until the end of this post curation. If by then I don't have a minimum standard, I will run another post until I find the right quality. But don't worry, all efforts will be rewarded with other forms of appreciation.

The above reward is mainly to feed into my "next" post about #HIVE Games. But while that one does not kick in, I going to infuse some bubbling ideas into your brains about how can we get the word out.
First we need to know what games are around right?
So, let's get started... this is quite an extensive list, but by all means, feel free to add any others not listed here that integrate at least with HIVE.
🏙️dCity
If you like growing a city like the SIMCity game, but on the blockchain, with real massive rewards! Requires investment to play.
🎙️Rising Star
Very fast expanding game, with no initial investment needed. You can listen to music while playing and one day even become a world star with lots of fans.
🍞Holybread
Do you like medieval fighting strategy with attributes, items, upgrades and so on? Then check this one out. You also don't need initial investment to start playing this one.
🍺CryptoBrewMaster
Wanna learn how to brew stuff (like me) and not actually have to go through the real process just yet? Then check this one... no initial investment.
🃏Splinterlands
Do you know "Magic the Gathering" or the Blizzard "HearthStone" card games? This is the HIVE blockchain version of them. But you do actually win real rewards on every game you play. Requires initial deck purchase to win rewards.
🚀eXode
Long awaited and still in development phase (but already playable) space game. Requires initial investment as you need a starter pack to play the game. For me this game will be breakthrough in terms of graphical games integrated with the HIVE Blockchain.
🐷Piggericks
Another one that is super fun to play! In Alpha development, but you can already give it a try and you don't require initial investment. Basically roll pigs and play with odds and attributes.
🎰Crypto Gamers
Find yourself eager for some Gambling rolls? Try your chance responsibly here. Note: If you play dCity game mentioned above, you can win some tokens for free (with the Casino card) and use them to enhance your spending in this one.
🌇Crypto Tycoon
Developed by HIVE users, works on mobile phones too. Very simple but fun to play.
🌆BROcity
Wanna play a different version of SIMCity game with some fighting mixed in and street racing? Check this one. No initial investment required.
🎲BROsino Poker
Poker and casino games from the BRO Team on HIVE.

I am planning on rewarding new players with some prizes, depending on how many and for what type of game they decide to start playing... things can go wild! At the end of the day, both referees and referrers will see a win-win situation and from MY side too!
Most of the links (above) are referrals to myself, but keep in mind that I also need to have an idea of what is more popular (by using https://hiveurl.com). Note that I will not feel bothered if you use any of yours in any of the posts replies, as long its not spammy and you are trying to help new users.

When will you toss rewards?
I will make individual or group giveaways/contests when I am able to. The idea is, on my side (especially), to motivate and broadcast outside #HIVE for users to join and try these games. So, if current players bring new ones aboard, please make sure you encourage them to introduce themselves on any of my posts and to let me know on the comments who you brought in.
Besides all the fun on trying, testing and enjoying many of the above games I did manage to get some lucky stuff already, so I will use specific assets as prizes in order to motivate further adoption. I will contact game owners to make sure I target the right audience too.

Is Starbits useful as ingame items in on point? :D
You can buy cards with it. Just need to withdraw them first to Hive-Engine and then you can use them to purchase cards. In alternative, you can also sell them for SWAP.HIVE on the market.
For example today I just bought my "First Rehearsal Room" with STARBITS:
I bought 10k starbits and bought the card package eariler :D
Yeah, they sometimes give you really great cards! I have one legendary and one epic... so far. Thinking on donating the epic one... sometime into the future no too distant.

Indeed, that's why people should focus on the ones they most like. But trying does not hurt anyway. Actually, I would say that if there is no investment needed, it would be the best way to try them out and figure if you like it or not.

I like these two! There is more to do than Dcity which is neat!
In the future we might need games where there isn't a waiting timer or mixed.
Maybe a tower defence game where you fight for first place every week or so :D
Yeah... great ideas! There is much being trialed... the basics of economics and feature set need to ground first. And of course we need more users and more developers trying these ideas.

One thing we need to think about is if we want people to get profit from all games. Can games exist here without getting profits to people and maybe just a token which can be exchanged for upvotes.
Because I just bought GemCraft - Frostborn waith, the other day for 11 dollars on steam, I don't get anything from paying for that game.
I also play a game called Idlemonsters on my phone, which I also really enjoy
On Holybread game the more you fight in the arena, the bigger you will get an upvote on your next post.
Many are still experimenting... and adapting to the community likes. It takes time... but all suggestions are welcome of course.

I contemplated writing a tower defence game on Hive as I love them!
I wonder if I could incorporate one into Rising Star - a mini game where all the independent musicians defend themselves from the evil record companies! :P
That could work as a small minigame! But it could also work like a normal game where you could exchange the tokens you win on the leaderboard for upvotes instead of sharing profit.

Wow, waaaay more games than the ones I knew! I play Splinterlands for almost 2 years now, and thanks to you started playing DCity and last week decided to try Rising star. Some of the ones you mentioned seem great, but think I have too little time for all the games! Too bad I suck at art, but maybe @doze can give you a hand with that!
😎 I keep trying them... but I confess it's hard to be competitive at all of them, yes. That's why I would recommend to try them, and stick to the ones you like most.
Although, now and then, re-check them out again, because continuous development quite changes things sometimes, and it might change the perspective you have of the games you inittialy try in alpha/beta...

No specific ones, the idea is to be professional eye catching. I will use it in a wider post sharing initiative once I can "fabricate" the next post, hence I need something more viral. But I would say, the more games that can be included, the more support those would receive and would also send a more complete message.

https://ecency.com is not read-only, it is possible to do almost all social activities now, we will be pushing more changes this week. Desktop app will get update and it will be based on ecency.com. But we want to make sure we have more features on website before incoorporating that into desktop app.
