Final Fantasy VII Remake is only two months away! Square Enix as with their other big titles are building up the hype for it with screenshots and trailers. Even though the demo was leaked and release was delayed 5 weeks, the fans are still waiting impatiently for the release!

At the first day of this February, Square Enix revealed a new trailer for the Remake. You can watch it below:

The trailer showcases many scenes, like teen Clound & Tifa, the Honey-bee Inn and the cross-dressing Cloud. It also marks the first reveal of Red XIII (a party member in the original) and Dr. Hojo. (Both were leaked with the demo data-mine.)

The trailer shows new scenes, not in the original, one of them is showing the party against a Soldier member. But most importantly, however, is the scene where the party encounters Sephiroth. A situation that didn't happen in Midgar at all in the Original FFVII.

New SOLDIER member!

While I'm glad that they showed us the cross-dressing Cloud and the encounter with Sephiroth, I fear that they might have shown too much.

I don't want another KHIII situation,
That game felt dull because trailers spoiled all good moments.

There are two months between this trailer and the release, and I assume there will be another trailer in this period. Will everything be in the trailers by the remake's release?

Still, seeing Sepiroth in Midgar made me think of something? Will this be the final boss of the first entry in the remake series? If that's the case I hope they do this in a way that respects Sephiroth magnificence. Though part of me wishes that the final boss to be something new and wishes for it to not be shown in the trailers.

Only time will tell!

At first I was a little disappointed by the trailer because it was just more cinematics, but towards the end they got to the nitty gritty and showed some gameplay, and it looks very good.

A lot is riding on this for Squenix because I feel as though FF15 was a real letdown. This might be the last chance I am willing to give that company.

I really hope the game turns out good. The future of the company depends on it.

Though I have a fear that even if the first part turns out amazing, the parts afterward might ruin it.
