Tricky Mischief Pokémon event - Platinum Hero Medal for Rocket members Defeated

This April Fool's once again brought the Tricky Pokémon event back for a day with mischievous Pokémon causing trouble and as such were appearing much more in the wild. Team GO Rocket thought that catching Aipom would put a stop to their pranks, but they were absolutely wrong with that. As such, all Team GO Rocket Grunts during the whole day were having Shadow Aipom with them. Which is the first introduction of Shadow Aipom. Throughout the event Team GO Rocket Grunts were appearing more frequent too at PokéStops and in balloons.

In the afternoon I was able to defeat a few Team GO Rocket grunts while I was on a break. Then in the evening when I was home I went for a long walk and continued fighting Team GO Rocket Grunts that I could find. I ended up with a total of 32 Shadow Aipom, two were from Decoy Grunts. One of these was a 15/15/14 IV so I'll be able to purify it and have it become a 100% IV! You can see in this screenshot that I caught 32 Shadow Aipom.

I also fought and defeated Cliff two times and Sierra once throughout the day when I had Rocket Radars.

For my Hero medal that requires defeating Team GO Rocket members, I was getting closer and closer to Platinum, which is at 2000. However when I decided to go home that evening I was still a few short, but there were no more Rocket Grunts at PokéStops as I had just defeated the ones near me. Here you can see my progress to the medal at the end of the day.

This April 2nd I had to of course continue fighting them. When I was home this evening I went to walk around with a friend and play some Pokémon GO together. There weren't many Team GO Rocket Grunts, two times we even missed one as we got there too late, but I was able to get my Platinum Hero Medal! Here you can see it popping up over the game world after receiving it!

At the end of walking around I had defeated a few more Team GO Rocket Grunts. So in this next photo you can see what it looks like when you defeat a Team GO Rocket member after you've obtained the Platinum Medal, compared to when you have the Gold Medal, as well as a look at the Platinum Medal from the Medal screen.

It was really great to get an Aipom that I can purify to be 100% IV as so far I didn't have one yet. I'm glad that I got the Platinum Medal 😄 Of course that doesn't mean I'll stop fighting Team GO Rocket members.
