One morning, while visiting the plains of Tucupido, we decided to photograph an insect called "La Serbatana" known in the lowlands as "Mantis Religiosa" or "Mantis Asesina". In spite of being an insect predator, the Serbatana is very friendly in contact with humans. Let's see how it poses before us.
Una mañana cualquiera de visita por los llanos de Tucupido, decidimos fotografiar a un insecto "La Serbatana" conocida en los bajos fondo como "Mantis Religiosa" o "Mantis Asesina" A pesar de ser un depredador de insectos, la Serbatana es muy amigable en contacto con humanos. She hides among the leaves but can be distinguished by the greenness of the plants. We approach her by the beauty of her light color.

It moves fast and tries to show itself to us.
