Dinner With My Son at a Georgian Tavern

My son Oleg knows how to spoil me - that is why last Saturday he took me to the Wellness Center where we spent unforgettable half a day. There were different fruit and drinks there but it was dinner time when we left the hotel, around 4pm.
Мой сын Олег знает, как меня побаловать, поэтому в прошлую субботу он повез меня в Оздоровительный Центр, где мы провели незабываемые пол дня. Были там разные фрукты и напитки, но покидали мы его в то время, когда уже пора было обедать или даже ужинать, около 16 часов.

We were hungry and decided to eat somewhere. Toila is very close to the town of Jõhvi where my favourite tavern is located. They cook excellent shashlyk I have never been disappointed with. So we did not think much where to go.

Мы проголодались, и решили поехать куда-то поесть. От Тойла совсем недалеко до Йыхви, города, где находится моя любимая таверна. Их великолепный шашлык ни разу не разочаровывал меня, так что мы не думали долго, куда поехать.

The weather was sunny and I often asked my son to stop the car to take pictures 😀,
Погода была солнечной, и я часто просила сына остановить машину, чтобы сделать фото.

We had booked a table and ordered shashlyk when we were in Toila, so we did not wait for long.
Мы заказали столик и шашлык заранее, еще в Тойла, так что долго ждать не пришлось.

They have lots of traditional Georgian dishes in their menu but I always order traditional shashlyk with Georgian mineral water "Borzhomi". They serve shashlyk with some vegetables and home made bread, also traditional Georgian. The sauce is out of words and home made too.
В меню у них много различных традиционных грузинских блюд, но я всегда заказываю свой любимый традиционный шашлык с грузинской минеральной водой "Боржоми". Подают они шашлык с овощами и хлебом домашнего приготовления. Соус также великолепен и тоже готовится ими.

The atmosphere in the tavern is cosy and friendly. The specious room is decorated in traditional Georgian stile and reminds street tavernas in that southern country.
Атмосфера в таверне уютная и дружелюбная. Просторный зал оформлен так, что напоминает уличные таверны в Грузии, в этой южной стране.

We were sitting at the round wooden table near the fireplace. The background with barrels makes the photos picturesque. That may explain our choice.
Мы сидели за круглым деревянным столом у камина. Бочки на заднем плане сделали фото довольно живописными, так что выбор нами места понятен.

The area ourside is picturesque, too.
