Street Food: The Meat Balls Soup

There were times when I found that street food tasted better than those in fancy restaurants. This is the reason I like to try street food. One afternoon, I found a "bakso" seller just parked "cart" by the road. The cart looked clean and colorful. I thought that was safe to eat there, so I decided to order some bowl of bakso with my wife and son.

The seller took a bowl and fill it with rice noodles, sliced of raw cabbages, and some seasoning. Then opened the pan lid and took some chicken meatballs and pour some broth into the bowl. And the bakso serving was ready.

"You can add sauce or ketchup and chilli sambal to suit your liking by yourself." the seller said to me. I added some chili, sweet soy sauce, and tomato sauce to my meatball soup.

Along with the meatballs in the pan, I saw chicken feet. The seller if I would like to have them on my serving. I said, "no, thanks. if there is no food left in the world, I'll probably try those chicken feet."😅

There are a lot of people who like chicken feet a lot. For example, my wife.

We borrowed plastic chairs and use them as our tables as it's more convenient rather than putting the bowl on the ground.

The meatballs were soo tasty, we love it. And we like sitting by the street having the meatballs, you could not find this experience in a fancy restaurant.
