Coronavirus is in my Country now

I live in Honduras and it seems we now have 2 confirmed cases of Coronavirus. Both persons came from abroad via airplane I really don't know which country they came from but the health services have confirmed both cases. Now let's get one thing straight our health service is not that good and could be wrong, I really don't think they are, and another is that if this virus is really here it means we are in for a big problem.

The one good thing I have heard is that this viruses lifetime is cut short when faced with hot temperatures, we get close to 100 degrees in the place I live but unfortunately right now we are going through what is supposed to be the final cold front of the year after this ends we can expect the usual hot weather and that should help eliminate this virus.

It does make me think a lot of things, for example China is nearly completely free of new cases, OK it is a country with a very totalitarian government and they could be hiding behind false numbers but I don't think so, they have a good health service and I really think they have contained the epidemic. Now what have they done that other countries haven't? I guess their form of government makes it easy for them to close down whole cities and make sure nobody leaves. In a country like mine this is close to impossible, the only thing that will keep people indoors is fear, if people are ordered to stay at home, they will more rapidly take to the streets.

I will follow this closely if things do seem to be getting out of control I will place myself in house arrest and not go out, I truly hope it is contained and that the pandemic stops, we all need that.
