Stand firm in time of troubles
Ephesians 6:13 "Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand".
From our opening verse, apostle Paul is warning us to prepare for the evil day. Evil day could be time of trials and temptation, but God want us to acknowledge and overcome each day if can only walk in Union with the Holy spirit.
Don't be dismay in the time of troubles because with the guidance of the word of God and the holy Spirit in us, you will always be victorious, for we, children of God are overcomers.
You need not to be afraid, for He who is in you is greater than the world and troubles of the world as well, therefore put on the whole armour of God. Don't relax until the evil day strikes, be steadfast in prayer. Our Lord Jesus Christ instructed us to pray without ceasing. You can only be victorious when you are equiped with the whole armour of God. Paul in Ephesians has told us how to resist the evil day.
Ephesians 6:14-17 ''Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.
In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one".
Prayer and the word of God should be your only weapon in time of troubles and tribulations. Therefore, study and meditate on the word every day!
