After HF21

Well it has been more than a day that we are living with Hard Fork 21 and so far results are as I thought they would be, the people who were getting the most from their posts are now getting more, the rest of us are getting less.

For example yesterday the votes I got for two posts added up to $0.92 whereas just last week two similar spots would have made $1.35 so I got, rounding it, 30% less. Now before HF21 I would have gotten as a payout 75% of this $1.35 approximately $1.01, now out of $0.92 I will get after 10% is skimmed off for SPS about $0.415 which is about 40% of what I would have made before HF21, so yes authors who make less than 20 Steem per post will make definitely a lot less than before, less than what was calculated before the HF went live.

So that is a huge downside to this hardfork the upside is the downvotes? But I look at the downvotes and most of them are made by people who were upbeat about the HF, I don't see anyone else downvoting and I don't think I will, actually I think these people are downvoting to try to prove they were right and will stop doing this in a couple of days after they get bored with it. But I don't see downvotes for some shit posts that don't use Bidbots but still get way more than they deserve, but wait, you see these guys are in the same circle jerk so they won't be getting downvotes, in fact the people downvoting bidbots are the ones upvoting these shitposts. So there you go some people here are apparently quite the hypocrites.

So, as far as I can tell HF21 is not going to be giving any great results, but this is actually something that was foreseeable, only a crazy person does the same thing and expects to get different results, you see Steemit already had 50/50 curation, curved rewards, and flags and none of them worked. But they thought that this time around they would work, well it seems they won't. I hope, I really hope I am wrong but I don't see any reason why I should be, the bigger accounts get more, the smaller accounts get less and a lot of people leave. I guess that is the future, of course it is still early perhaps something changes in the near future.

As for Steemit Inc. they are still powering down, and a lot, this gives me even less hope for the future, because now I have to see some dumb ads that were supposed to stop this powering down, and I see them for no reasons as the power down continues and the price is still going down. We have to wait for some artificial pumping for Steem before the price goes up.

Continuing to sell at these low prices could be understood as desperation.

the 10% has already been skimmed... the amount showed is what is split 50/50

Really? I thought rewards belonged to nobody until payout, if what you say is true Steemit Inc. is the only one enjoying money before it is paid out.

10% of the reward pool now goes to the SPS ...that portion came from what the authors were receiving. There is other %'s allocated as well like to the Witnesses. And Steemit Inc doesn't get the SPS or any of the reward pool.

What remains of the author's share of the reward is split with curators.

So the SPS receives it as soon as a vote comes in? Well that really is one thing I didn't know so in the end by the time I do get payout for the post, SPS will have probably received a different amount than 10% because of the price changes, and they still get something even if the post rewards are turned to dust?

the allocations from the rewardpool have already taken place before any vote on a post comes in. the allocation currently available for author/curation is already less the 10% allocated to the SPS
