Woman in history-Huzaima bint Nasser

This time I present woman of XX century.

This is Huzaima bint Nasser(1884-1935). She was born in Mecca, Ottoman empire. She was wife of Faisal I of Iraq(1885-1933)(his picture is bellow).

She is known of being queen consort of Syria 8 March 1920 – 24 July 1920 when her husband was king of Syria. But in 24 July 1920 after four months the monarchy of Syria was abolished.

But in 1921 at the Cairo conference Faisal was declared a suitable candidate to become king of British-administered Iraq. So due to this Faisal was crown as king of Iraq on 23 August 1921. And his wife Huzaime became queen consort of Iraq (Huzaima's husband coronation picture bellow).

After Huzaima husband death in 8 September 1933 her son Ghazi I of Iraq became the king and his wife Aliya bint Ali became the queen consort of Iraq.
