Vote to decide what the "Deep Roots" mission will be like.

UnsplashHey everyone, how are you all doing? Today I'm finally putting into practice an idea I had a while ago, but never got around to: voting to decide the future of Hive Grove on some issues.
Today, we're going to vote on how the HP delegation mission for the @hive-grove account will work, which I plan to start in season 3, that is, at the beginning of next month!
Mission Name: Deep Roots
Those who delegate HP to @hive-grove will earn DAILY points for the ranking. The mission will have a maximum limit to prevent profiles with a lot of HP from getting too many points at once, so I want the community to choose the format of this mission.
Additional Information:
- Regardless of the chosen maximum limit, if someone delegates more HP than needed for the mission, I plan to create "titles" with levels (bronze, silver, gold, etc.) in the future that will be visible on the in-game profile. If the delegated HP exceeds a certain value, the title changes its format, color, etc.
- Titles (of HP or other things) will not give anything extra in the game (at least not initially), they will only show that you excelled in something in the game or that you demonstrated great support for the Hive Grove.
- In addition to counting points for the mission, I always conduct manual votes in the Campfire comments, so in the end, everyone will benefit from a healing account with more HP by voting, even if with a lower percentage.
- I'm also thinking about creating something in the game that searches for a specific tag, like #hivegrove, or, if there's too much pollution in that tag, we could create another specific one to pull LONG POSTS, in which I vote using my @shiftrox account, and the hive-grove account follows and votes as well.
- The votes I cast inside and outside the game are COMPLETELY MANUAL, and I hope that, even with the lack of time, I can manage them this way. The percentage values for votes also vary.
- Lastly, and perhaps the most difficult, I want to see if I can get the support of some large project that is still active within the Hive, but this is not guaranteed, it requires a lot of discussion and commitment, so it's something for the future.

I dont like all of these ideas actually. It gives a big advantage to people who have much HP and disadvantages small accounts. This is the problem we have everywhere here on Hive...
I think leaderboard points should not be dependent of HP or how much money someone has or can invest into Hive or the game. This is not a good direction the game heads to with this in my oppinion.
If you really want to give points for HP, then cut it to max. 5 points a season or something. To make the advantage very small. But up to 1000 HP, giving 5 points daily? Too much of an advantage.
What about people who can only delegate 10 or 50 HP? So they get nothing?
If people want to support the game, they will delegate HP anyways. Don´t connect it Leaderboard points.
I am all up for supporting the small accounts in Hive. And this is again, the opposite that happens.

Hi, I completely understand your point of view. I’ll definitely take it into consideration as well. This poll will help me get an idea of what to do and what not to do. Unfortunately, I’d like to bring more people together to hear their opinions—whether here, on Hive Grove, or on Discord—but it turns out we have a little bit of everything in each place.

Great work you are doing Big man! One thing I have learnt in life is shoes have got different sizes and also amount of influence we command as individuals also vary in every sphere of life....
Well that's one way to get people to stack and delegate I guess? ^_^; If it's supposed to be a daily mission I feel like maybe incrementing in 5 or 10 instead of 100 and maxing out at 10 or 50 or 100 instead of 300/500/1000 might give the poor krill that can't buy in for whatever reason an actual shot. And if you want to recognise anyone who decides to delegate above and beyond they can have a vanity badge and maybe there could be a community mission with some sensible targets? (I was going to add "if you can make that work" but I assume you can if you're floating this idea)

I'm still going over everything. I thought I'd come away with a decision, but I see that the part about delegating HP and considering points together didn't go over very well. I think I'll think about it some more after the voting period ends and make a final decision on this!
I need to be careful with this decision!
I think some people might possibly be thinking that big accounts will be able to permanently superglue themselves to the top of the leaderboard despite your best efforts :)

That makes sense; I think I'll hold off on this mission a little longer. There's no need to rush growth—sustainability is what matters!
I agree with @ravenmus1c! But while I'm in favor of delegation, I think there should only be a few points per season. Because many missions involve a financial investment, and this will be yet another one of them.
