Saffron-winged Meadowhawk
Let me share with you some pictures of a yellow dragonfly or commonly called Saffron-winged Meadowhawk. As the name suggests, this typical dragonfly is mostly found around the meadow. It can be identified by the stripped leg, minimal black on the abdomen with red front head. I found it standing on the top of the deadwood exposing itself under the bright sky and I thought that was a good chance for me to take a couple of shots before it flew away.
The Saffron-winged meadowhawk (Sympetrum costiferum) is a dragonfly of the genus Sympetrum
