Belgian Play-Offs Week 3 Wednesday | Racing Genk vs Anderlecht

The 3rd week of the playoffs is ready to be kicked off with 1 match today and 3 matches tomorrow. The same strategy remains of being rather cautious as results tend the be quite strange and wild with mostly in-game bets.

Racing Genk vs Anderlecht

Racing Genk started the playoffs taking 6 on 6 even though they didn't exactly outplay their opponents. Their front line is just so strong that they tend to make the difference and all 3 (Ito-Bongonda-Onuachu) are set to play today. Anderlecht has taken 2 on 6 and was really lucky to get away with a point last weekend against Antwerp. Their overall focus seems to have dropped again and I'm quite sure that they at least will start this match with a lot of focus. If anything, their defense has been very stable the past couple of months and most focus is put on it at the cost of the offense. I don't expect a wide-open start of the match with Anderlecht giving the ball to Genk who is not going to want to take the risk of getting punished on the counter. Often these playoff matches start out rather boring with plenty of goals in bunches later on. I did take a small pre-game position on 1st Half Under 1 @ 2.38 and might add some more possibly on Under 1.25 in case the odds go up. Racing Genk Team Total over is one of the best I have been targetting for a while and it still remains an option. Anderlecht is a team I dislike right now which is kind of clouding my vision. I honestly can't see how Genk is the underdog in this match and the rather big line movement on Anderlecht raises some red flags (Usually when this happens, Anderlecht plays a solid match with the opponent disappointing). So I'm just keeping it at the 1H Under trading position.

For me it is hard to have an unbiased opinion on this game, due to being a fan of Genk. But still I do find the odds for a Genk win, absurd high. According to the asianodds movement Anderlecht is a slight favorite for this game, but that is not how I do see it.
An early goal is what this goal needs to turn into a great game.
Due to being a fan, I will probably stay away from betting on this game.

Yeah, it was one of those matches where the line and odds didn't make all too much sense which made it likely for Genk to have a really difficult match as it turned out to be. So many mind games and bullets to dodge in betting. Also always hard to keep personal bias aside, I also like Genk as a team to watch while watching Anderlecht this season feels like a torture each time. I'm hoping they manage to turn this around for next season.
