Some solid profit yesterday from the 2 Europa League matches even though slowly cost-averaging in on the positions might not have been the best choice since goals came early already in the match which was beyond my expectation. Both Antwerp and Club Brugge got eliminated, so that will be it for the European action this season which turned out to be quite solid making +3.638 units profit on 92 bets combined good for a total stake of 24.192 units (0.263 units on the average bet size) and a +15.04% ROI! From now on, there is only the Belgian League and the Belgian Cup left along with the playoffs so still plenty of action starting today with the first match from week 29...

Charleroi vs Racing Genk

Both these teams aren't exactly in a good flow. Genk after seeing coach Thorup leave continued to play really good at first with New Coach Van Den Brom but this faded partly due to bad pitches and weather conditions which doesn't suit them and they now seem to have a hard time picking up their form again leaving the club in somewhat of a crisis and the new coach under fire. They are still in 3rd spot despite losing the last 3 matches and they have had a hard time creating a lot of danger despite having a lot of quality offensive players. So the overall trend is not all too positive for Genk and them putting up a convincing performance tonight can be considered as a surprise at this point even though they certainly have the sheer quality to do it. Bongonda who made the difference a while back has not convinced lately and will start on the bench. Charleroi also are not in the best streak despite not having lost in their last 4 matches now dropping to the 11th position which only is 4 points shy of Genk who are 3rd. They never really looked horrible and I still rate them as quite a solid team. They tend to perform better in the 2nd half which is something to look out for, they are without Morioka which kills some creativity in the midfield. Everything combined, taking a small position on Charleroi +0.25 @ 1.908 is the pre-game position I'm willing to get into and I will see how it goes in-game.
