Vasco does not give up despite being demoted to Serie B, sues company that operates the VAR
The Brazilian Championship of the 2020/21 season has ended, but if it depends on Vasco, the club that lost the match against Internacional, they will do everything to cancel that game. All because the match was marked not by the score of 2-1, but by the negative repercussion that VAR had in the bid of the first goal.
The video referee validated the goal, but the coaches had decreed that the VAR was "out of balance", even if you read it. In an official football match and in the final rounds and depending on the title dispute for Internacional, VAR was the protagonist of the match.

Vasco has already entered the process so that the match could be annulled and if the STJD (Supreme Court of Sports Justice) is unable to challenge the match, the Rio club will file a civil action and who will be sued will be Hawk-Eye, a company responsible for reproducing the VAR.
Vasco da Gama, one of the biggest clubs in Rio de Janeiro, was relegated to the second division for the fourth time in less than 12 years. He practically collects a relegation every three years. O Vasco já deu entrada no processo para que a partida pudesse ser anulada e caso o STJD (Supremo Tribunal de Justiça Desportiva) não consiga impugnar partida, o clube carioca irá mover uma ação cível e quem irá ser acionado será a Hawk-Eye, empresa responsável pela reprodução do VAR.

Caso o processo siga em frente, o Vasco busca receber pelo menos R$ 100 milhões (US$178,5 mil). Para um time que está na segunda divisão e que perdeu várias fontes de renda, será um bom valor para tentar se recuperar para a disputa da Série B, pois pela primeira vez na história, a segunda divisão terá cinco campeões brasileiros disputando o acesso. Além do Vasco são o Cruzeiro, Coritiba , Guarani e Botafogo.
Bem, todos sabem que a justiça brasileira não é tão rápida para resolver as coisas e muito provável que esse processo não irá se resolver, por mais que as provas podem parecer favoráveis ao Vasco. O jeito será reerguer seu futebol e tentar o acesso a Série A ainda neste ano.
