Chelsea continued with their second match in the remainder of the season after it was earlier stopped due to the pandemic situation that almost ended the season in the disruption.

Azpilicueta lost his man at the back post, and after Kepa made the original save, the defense in front of him stood still and watch Kortney Hause pounce and fire Villa in front in the first 45mins of the game.
Puliisic introduction alongside Ross Barkley, as Pulisic restores parity for Chelsea Pulisic beats Hause to fires in an equalizer four minutes after coming on, before Giroud who swivels and beats Nyland thanks to a deflection off Hourihane to give Chelsea the lead.

Pulisic put up a quite impressive performance, after scoring one goal in the first half, and very near to scoring the second before Man City's Kyle Walker made a goal-line clearance to stop him from making it two.
In the 36th minute, Pulisic collected a loose ball from Man City's Benjamin Mendy and then raced down from midfield with great pace, before scoring, to continue his form scoring 2 goals in 2 games consecutively.
The Brazil international was sent off as his fellow countryman Willian sealed the points which eventually crowned Jurgen Klopp's dominant league winners.

Although most of the focus was understandable on the main consequence of this Chelsea victory, it was a huge three points for the Stamford Bridge side. Their 5 points advantage over a resurgent Manchester United in fifth is restored, while a sobbing Leicester City are now just a point better off with seven matches remaining.
