Brazilians and Real Madrid's Success Rate.

It's been a interesting past couple of days for me as a Manchester United fan, at least we've finally gotten a hold of two new signings and definitely, more is coming!

So this morning I was going through some sport news when I saw an update about Vinicius, Rodrygo, and Militao all getting set to sign long term contracts with Real Madrid and the thought of the contributions Brazilian players had contributed to the success of Real Madrid popped up in my head.

Since I have been watching football, I really do not think there has been a season Real Madrid survived with a Brazilian and to an extent, I think Brazilians had the most contributions to the success of Real Madrid as a winning football club in the last twenty years and perhaps more.

Real Madrid is actually my favourite team in the Spanish League, though I really do not know much about the club's structure but their choice of players in the market forever makes me love the team because I am always glad to watch their players in action.

I heard some people say Spanish owned football while some others like myself believes Brazil does more. Well, I got to observe the likes of Ronaldo and Roberto Carlos.

I think going the history lane, Marcelo, Carlos, and Ronaldo are by far the best machineries Real Madrid got from Brazil and since year 2000, these Brazilians have held Madrid up on a city of gold.

Imagine Carlos who had Madrid's back for 11 years and Marcelo also many glorious years with the team also. Where I am actually heading to with this post is likely to lead to an argument but it's my opinion which you can either buy into or let is slide.

I believe that since the year 2000, if Real Madrid had never had any of these Brazilians, the club wouldn't have been this successful in terms of winning trophies.

Before the argument gets pretty hot on this post, I shall take last season as a case study, the impact of Vinicius and Rodrygo was so vivid, they had most of important winnings covered.

The team as a whole did a great job but my bone of contention is that these Brazilians are the soul of the team.

Rodrygo for the first time had a lot of playing time for Real Madrid last season even though they're mostly below 70 minutes per match, yet he was still able to contribute 4 goals and 4 assists in the League Campaign last season, that wasn't the best of his performances yesterday but his contribution to Real Madrid winning the UCL is a lot to talk about.

I saw couple of his performances in the UCL and it was really impressive, having 5 goals and 2 assist in the UCL for Real Madrid for his age, is really a big deal (I think).

Vinicius was the actual Brazilian for Madrid last season and I must sincerely say that I'm still shocked. From on own point of view, Vinicius in 2020/2021 season was a huge liability, though he's a talented player then, most of the talent displayed was merely the pace but last season was drastically different.

Vinicius came through last season with a better sense of scoring goals and he was able to secure 4 goals and 6 assists in 13 appearances in the UCL and he also crowned it with 17 goals and 10 assists in the league campaign.

I also strongly believe that he's currently the most valuable player in the Real Madrid's current squad.

If I'll be taking about the impacts if these Brazilians by seasons, there'll be so much to talk about, I have even pointed out Casemiro and his offensive impact at all, trust me it's just all beautiful for Real Madrid having Brazilian footballers in the team every single season!

I have to agree with you that the Brazilian are doing it for Madrid. You have cited Rodrygo and Vinicius... Ronaldo Lima too with Marcelo...they are not short of Brazilians as their backbone due to their flair on the ball and the Bernebeu crowd loves the show.

We signed two? I only know of one o...until De Jong signs, I won't accept we have two signings especially knowing how our team is.

Erikson agreed to join us already. I do not think De Jong's deal would be successful.
