Wolves Won It Late.

Fulham hoped to get the 3 points which would edge them closer to beating the drop against Wolves who have also been struggling with results.

Wolves should have gotten ahead in the game when a brilliant delivery came into the box and William Jose connected well with it but he was unable to steer his header goal-ward as it went flashing wide of the post.

Another brilliant delivery into the box came for Fulham as well and Loftus Cheeks were on the end of it. He was unable to steer his header into the back of the net as well as it went wide. Both teams would be kicking themselves for coming that close but not taking advantage of it.

With missed chances flying here and there with Mitrovic another culprit for a misplaced header that should have given Fulham the lead. William Jose thought he had given Wolves the lead with a brilliant header and even though he got his header spot on and scored, his goal was ruled off for offside in the build-up to it. That must have been painful because it was marginally off.

Saiss had a lovely freekick at the edge of the box for Wolves but it went far and high just as Dendoncker header way over the net after another inviting delivery found him. With half chances here and there and both teams looking like they would settle for a draw, the magic moment happened on the stroke of the final whistle.

Adama Traore was sent clear and with his strength and pace, he managed to stay on the ball and despite the angle being narrowed down, he expertly unleashed a thumping shot into the roof of the net to give Wolves the 3 points. What a time to score and what a way to score your first goal of the season. Wolves ran away with the win to condemn Fulham to the same spot, still hoping for survival.
