1 millimeter is enough to win

A mesmerising cycling race this afternoon in Southern Holland, the Amstel Gold Race was pure advertising for the sport of cycling. But it had a cruel ending. In a long sprint between Thomas Pidcock and Wout Van Aert it wasn’t visible with the naked eye who won. The finish photo showed a very small difference. But eventually 1 millimeter was enough for Van Aert for the win. Very sad for Pidcock but that’s the cruelty of sport, there can only be one winner. And there always has to a second place... Today that was the harsh verdict for Thomas Pidcock...

But I have seen a great race!
